FSA/ HSA

What is FLEX?

We partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy products on The EZ Edit with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%, depending on your tax bracket.

When and how can I use my FSA/ HSA to purchase products on The EZ Edit?

At checkout, select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA as your payment option. You will be prompted to complete a brief telehealth consult to confirm your eligibility to pay with HSA/FSA. From there, enter your HSA or FSA debit card details and complete your checkout as usual. If you don’t have your HSA or FSA debit card handy, you can also complete the checkout with a regular credit or debit card.

What do I do if I don't have my FSA/HSA card with me?

If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card with you, still select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

My FSA/ HSA card was declined. What happened?

HSA/FSA cards are debit cards. The most common reason for an FSA/ HSA to decline is insufficient funds, meaning you do not have enough funds in your account to pay for the purchase. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.

What is FSA/HSA and how do I get it?

People get an FSA (Flexible Spending Account)through their job, where their boss puts tax-free money from their paycheck onto the card to spend on health items. They can also get an HSA (Health Savings Account)through work or by opening one at a bank if they have a specific type of health insurance. Both options automatically send the person a special debit card in the mail once the account is set up.
